Always known to be fashion forward, first lady Michelle Obama once again delivers. Spotted in a beautiful blue-and-white ensemble of dress and matching coat emblazoned with poppies over the bodice and waist, with a black-and-white striped pattern over the rest of the dress, Michelle entered India’s airspace in a fierce way.
Created by Indian designer Bibhu Mohapatra, the first lady’s choice in attire was well-received. This picture was tweeted by the US Consulate Mumbai to Bibhu: And Bibhu tweeted:

Michelle has been seen in a number of floral-printed frocks over the years, including another design created by Bihu in August 2012 when she appeared on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno. Apparently she’s all for the floral prints this season, as she has worn two additional ensembles with florals during their trip:
Michelle wore this beautiful navy, red, gold and white floral dress to the state dinner held at the presidential palace on Sunday night:
It’s wonderful how the first lady embraces designers of the different countries they visit. Their next trip is to Saudi Arabia. It will be interesting to see what she comes up with. Whatever it is, you can be sure the first lady will have it all together.
