The White House continues to have breaches that have never been heard of in the history of any sitting president. The latest debaucle is a 2-foot drone that was found on the White House lawn by Secret Service agents Monday morning. Agents are still speculating where the copter came from.
In a statement released by the Secret Service, an investigation is said to be underway to determine the origin of the commercially available device, motive and to identify suspects. The president and first lady are not in the country, and it is not known if other members of the family are at the White House. The drone was spotted at around 3:08 a.m. flying very low, ultimately crashing on the southeast side of the complex.
The Secret Service said, “There was an immediate alerts and lockdown of the complex until the device was examined and cleared.” The perimeter around the White House was closed during the early part of Monday morning with police and emergency vehicles.
